Why would someone in Lambeth who doesn't even live in the city be doing this?
This was asked live on air on a radio talk show. I corrected this person - Lambeth is in Ward 9 and is part of the city of London (since 1993). Ric Wallace has lived in London since 1963. Ric has been promoting the black squirrels in London since May 24, 2003 and the white squirrels in Exeter since 1995.

Are you NUTS?
Would you have the nerve to ask Walt Disney this? He built an entertainment empire based on another rodent - MICKEY MOUSE.

Who in their right mind would want to be associated with a rodent?

If London, Ontario has all this Black Squirrel history, why is it not not found on the City Of London's website?
Good question! The City of London's website has no mention of this interesting black squirrel history. Kent State University has this part of history on their site. Check this out for yourself - go to the City of London's website and search for BLACK SQUIRREL.

Why is this being done at election time? Is this a joke?
In London it seems the only time it's possible to get things done is at election time. This is for real! We encourage people to vote for candidates who support the Black Squirrel Campaign.
